The poster “Production of Fe and Al based coagulants from the recovery of brines and metal scraps” was presented at the IWA Young Water Professionals 2022 event on the 16-19 November 2022 in Valencia by Dr. Nuria Oliver (GOMSL)
The LIFE Waste2Coag was presented at the workshop organised by VALMETAL, the Business Association for the Innovation of Metal and related production processes.
The LIFE Waste2Coag project (LIFE20 ENV/ES/000430) was presented on October 18 at the conference on circular economy and industrial symbiosis, organized by the Conservation Entity of the Las Atalayas industrial estate (Alicante), which was attended by representatives of 18 companies and a significant number of attendees.
LIFE Waste2Coag was presented at EFIAQUA from the 4-6 October 2022. EFIAQUA is a forum in which all areas for which water is a strategic resource are represented, such as the business world, administrations, irrigations communities, technology companies, laboratories, manufacturers of capital goods, managers of drinking and waste water treatment plants or desalination plants.
On October 2022, in Ecofira, the international fair of environmental solutions and ecologic transition, experts from AIDIMME carried out tasks for the dissemination of the project LIFE Waste2Coag.
The LIFE Waste2Coag project video was released in September 2022 over on the project YouTube channel. The explainer video provides a clear overview of the project aims and objectives and is available to watch with English or Spanish subtitles.
The LIFE Waste2Coag partners celebrated the 2nd coordination meeting at month 8 of the project, This was a chance to hear from the five partners how the work on the project action they lead is going, to share understanding of the project and ensure we are all on track.
LIFE Waste2Coag is close to the end of the construction phase of the pilot for the recovery of metallic waste and brine, for the sustainable production of coagulants for application in wastewater treatment.
LIFE Waste2Coag attended the Water Europe Working Groups on Resource Recovery on 24th June 2022. Dr Naiara Fonseca presented at the event which was attended by 24 people.
