On 29 April 2026, LIFE Waste2Coag project partners gathered for the Final Meeting of the project, hosted by Global Omnium (GOMSL) in Valencia (Spain).
Partners presented the final results achieved, from the design and optimisation of the ELS technology to the validation of the produced coagulants in urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs).
The project successfully demonstrated the ELS technology in 3 case studies at different WWTPs:
- Gandia urban WWTP (Spain) – Production and validation of coagulants – Led by GOMSL
- Wulpen urban WWTP (Belgium) – Production of coagulants – Led by AQUAFIN
- JOVIAR’s industrial WWTP (Spain) – Production and validation of coagulants – Led by AIDIMME and JOVIAR
The meeting continued with presentations on the final outcomes of the Exploitation & Business Strategy Plan and the Dissemination & Communication Strategy Plan, developed by ISLE, and the Impact Assessments carried out during the project.
